An emulator such as Mini vMac (or alternatives) allows you to use, unmodified, your programs and data from your old Macintosh. But first you must transfer the files to your current computer. This can be difficult. The commonly used 400k and 800k floppy disks cannot by read by modern computers. Owning a working old Macintosh may not be sufficient, you may need a computer of intermediate age and other hardware to translate. Rather than dealing with all this, it may be easier to hire someone to do it for you.
